Comparison

It's when we know the story of Ed Gein and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the findings in GTA San Andreas would become interesting. I've put together a comparison, to make it more surveyable:

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Real life / Ed Gein
1.
Abandoned wheel chair in Blue Lagoon, believed to be a refrence to one of the youths in TTCM using a wheel chair.
This is an item from the Rockstar game Manhunt
2.
Chainsaws found around San Andreas Leatherfface used a chainsaw
3.
The Farm ("Cult location") Looks partly like Ed Geins house, partly like the TTCM house
4.
Scratched-up Glendale car, believed to be scratched up by a chainsaw
Ed Gein had a 1949 Ford Sedan, in TTCM there a car reminding of the Glendale, but not the same
5.
Mass grave in El Castillo Del Diablo with parked Bobcat
No mass graves or Bobcats in TTCM or the Ed Gein story. This is actually a reference to the Scorsese film Casino.
6.
Area called Panopticon, believed to be a reference to that Ed Geins served in the prison called Panopticon
Ed Gein did not serve in Panopticon, but in a state hospital called Mendota Mental Health Institute
7.
Movie announement in Angel Pine, "Chuffed to pieces", believed to mean cut to pieces Chuffed means "enraptured", not "cut"
8.
Claimings of an "egein hex" poster in the game Not found
9.
The game Manhunt found in Zero's shop Piggsy could be based on Leatherface
10.
The silver dildo in Bayside The silver painted vulva of Ed Geins mother
11.
Open grave in Palamino Creek. Ed Gein robbed corpses from the cemetery

As you can see, there are no real references to neither Leatherface or Ed Gein in the game of San Andreas.
